White lies, poetry and fiction - Tobias Hill on becoming a writer.
Tobias Hill's first collection of poetry was published in 1995, when he was only 25. Since then he's written novels, short stories and in 2005 was named as one of the Poetry Book Society's 'Next Generation' poets. He recently judged the T.S. Eliot Prize for Poetry and has just published another novel 'The Hidden'. Here he writes about how he came to be a writer.
