Airy-faery Yeats? the development of Yeats' style and vision
The author argues that, though Yeats' work fell into three distinct periods and styles, in the final period there is a synthesis of all that was important in his earlier poetry that creates a unity of purpose and vision. He discusses three key poems, one from each period, to illustrate this.
