Use a wildcard in the middle of a word for alternative spellings: eg ORGANI?ATION will find organisation and organization. Use truncation at the end of a shortened form of a word: eg COMPUT* will find computer, computing, computerised etc.

When searching for a phrase, put it inside quotation marks to refine the search results: eg "NATIONAL HEALTH SERVICE"
