Fashion photography is constantly being reinvented, whilst fashion, itself, is an integral part of culture. The way we present ourselves to the world speaks to wider geopolitical shifts and technological developments. Clothes signal wider connotations well beyond tailoring, trends and alluring colour palettes. Ulas Kesebir (b.1980) and Merve Turkan (b.1985) are based between Istanbul and London, working as a duo to redefine the parameters of fashion imagery.
