Peter Snow recounts a little-known story in the history of the space race, when the UK's first satellite was launched almost 40 years ago . Engineers Jim Scragg and John Scott were part of a team called Black Arrow, who fired test rockets using hydrogen peroxide , the last of which launched the satellite successfully into orbit.
