Writing poetry can be a tricky business. Sometimes we get an idea very quickly and, caught up in the excitement of creativity, scribble it down. It can be very tempting to be satisfied with our first efforts, and forget how much more work is needed. Here, Dr Jane Bluett reflects on the process of writing one of her poems, from first inspiration to publication.
