John Sergeant is following pioneering Victorian photographer Francis Frith in Britian's first photo album. Frith set out to photograph every town, city and village. The photos were then used as holiday postcards for Victorians who visited places for holidays/excursions. In this programme he visits the oldest theme part in Britain; Blackgang Chine and then to Ventnor Botanical gardens which was home to The Royal Hospital for Consumptives in the Victorian era.
